The bizarre Deadly Premonition 2 is now available on Steam. It first appeared in 2020 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise has surprisingly been released for Steam. The release was unveiled during this year’s Future Games Showcase. Deadly Premonition 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the Xbox 360 cult classic.

Deadly Premonition creator Swery65 made a surprise cameo appearance during the Future Games Show. During this appearance, he announced the immediate release of Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise for PC via Steam. So users could buy the title on Steam immediately after the announcement.
Already the first part of the series was a bizarre mix of Shenmue and Twin Peaks. The result was surreal, awkward, but also unforgettable for many players. The successor – Deadly Premonition 2 – was first released in 2020 exclusively for the switch. Compared to its predecessor, this game is a good deal better, although it is actually a prequel and a sequel at the same time.
On the Switch, Deadly Premonition 2 struggled with severe performance and graphics issues. It is to be hoped that the performance with the PC version was able to level off to a tolerable minimum. On Steam, the title also enjoys a current discount of 30 percent for the official launch and therefore costs only 27.99 euros.
