The Overwatch 2 beta recently ended. Overall, players were probably not too happy with their experience during the beta, as the title lost whole ones in just a week 99 percent of his viewers on Twitch. The game is supposed to feature a proper PvE campaign, but there will also be a few changes to the heroes and general gameplay.
For example, teams from Overwatch 2 are now only five players strong, instead of the previous teams consisting of six players.
Overwatch 2 will be free-to-play, releasing in October
Now Blizzard showed one as part of the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase Release date trailer to the game, and revealed the Early Access release of the shooter on October 4, 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. A little gameplay was also shown in the trailer and the various heroes were allowed to present some of their favorite skins.
Much more interesting, however, is that Blizzard also has another new hero of the game introduced. Called Junker Queen the new heroine becomes part of the shooter’s tank class. With her shotgun and a large, two-handed ax she certainly does some damage, and one of the skills she probably has is some kind of dash.
Also, Overwatch will be complete free for all players, when it’s released later this year. Blizzard wants to make the shooter available to more players and make it easier to have a quick match with a few friends. More information about the 34th hero Junker Queen, the new one Free-To-Play modeland more to come on June 16 at 7 p.m. at Overwatch 2Obtained Reveal Event.
As a thank you, players who own Overwatch will receive a Founder’s Pack that includes two epic skins, an exclusive Founder’s Icon, and a surprise gift to be announced ahead of the game’s release. To receive the Founder’s Pack, you must own Overwatch before June 23 and log into Overwatch 2 before 12/6/2022.
