Naughty Dog has officially announced The Last of Us remake. Are you happy or don’t you have a need for a remake of the comparatively young title?
update with the result:
Just over half of the survey participants are looking forward to the remake of The Last of Us – 33 percent from a consolero perspective, 23 percent because The Last of Us finds it on the PC regularly (without using the PSNow stream client). At least 30 percent see no need for a remake for the comparatively young title. Finally, it was 14 percent who generally do not see themselves as a target audience for the original because it didn’t knock their socks off, if they didn’t even break it off.

Industry insiders have been predicting it for a long time, now it’s been made official: The Last of Us – Part 1 will be a remake of The Last of Us, for which the environment and characters have been remodeled. According to the series creators Neill Druckman in the newly created cutscenes, the motion capture recordings of Troy Baker (Joel) and Ashley Johnson (Ellie) is once again brought in by the team and the revised animations are now intended to capture the acting of the two even more clearly. Naughty Dog continues to promise improvements in gameplay and controls, as well as more accessibility options – probably analogous to the more than exemplary The Last of Us – Part 2 (in the test, grade 9.5). In addition to 4K resolution at 60 fps, the features of the Dualsense controller and Tempest 3D audio are also supported. The multiplayer aspect, on the other hand, will not be included, instead there will be a standalone multiplayer game set in The Last of Us universe.
The new edition comes out a little before the tenth birthday of the PS3 original, which was already given a remastered version for PS4 the year after its launch. A special feature of the remake is that it now brings The Last of Us to a new platform: the PC. Although it was previously possible to play the PS3 version via stream on the computer with a subscription to PSNow (which will merge into PSPlus this month) – although the motion control feature of shaking to fix the flickering flashlight could cause problems.
