The talking bins in Malmö have been provided with new, a little more erotic, thanksgiving phrases that are pronounced when someone throws rubbish in the bins.
Now the rubbish bins are thanked with phrases such as “Come back soon and do it again”, “Aaah, that was crazy nice”, “Mmmm, more” or “Oh, right there yes” when they throw rubbish in the talking bins. The idea behind the new thank-you phrases is of course to get the people of Malmö to throw more rubbish in the bins.
Malmö has had talking bins since 2017 when they bought 18 of them. During the pandemic, the bins thanked us for keeping our distance from each other. Due to wear and tear and other things, there are today only two talking rubbish bins left in Malmö. One of these, and the new thank you phrases, you can see and listen to in the video above.
