Should have been released in 2020, according to rumors.
Nintendo’s paths are (possibly) unfathomable. It has long been rumored that one Metroid Prime-remaster is fully developed and ready to be released, and now comes a similar one Fire Emblem-reputation.
Admittedly, we get Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes to Switch on June 24 (demo out now), but many hardcore fans probably long for a traditional game rather than a Warrior-spinoff. According to a rumor, a brand new big game is in Fire Emblemseries has been fully developed, and should have been for over a year. Emily Rogers, who was right before, claims this via the forum Famiboards.
The game would, according to Rogers, have been released in 2020 in connection with the series’ 30th anniversary, with a graphic polish that is “an improvement over Three Houses”. The main character should have “strange red and blue hair”whose “mother is a dragon”. It definitely does not sound different Fire Emblem.
Let’s hope Nintendo does not keep the game until its 40th anniversary … if the rumor is true.
As I said, these are just rumors, and maybe we will soon know more in a supposed Nintendo Direct. Three Hopes which will soon be released takes place in the same world as the acclaimed 2019 Three Houses.
