Following the Earth Day and International Day of Dance Apple Watch Activity Challenge, Apple has scheduled a new challenge next week. In time for International Yoga Day on June 21st, Apple will host an Activity Challenge requiring 20 minutes or more of yoga practice.
Apple said:
Join the International Day of Yoga. On June 21, do yoga for at least 20 minutes and you will receive this reward. Record your time with any app that adds workouts to Health.
Apple Watch Activity Challenges are designed to promote fitness watch use and serve as a way for Apple to help users take advantage of their workout tracking features.
If you successfully complete a challenge with any workout app that logs data to the Apple Fitness app, you’ll unlock the virtual achievement on your iPhone, Apple Watch, and Apple Messages app. You’ll also get access to exclusive stickers that can be used in Messages, FaceTime, and more.
You can also complete the challenge using Apple Fitness+, Apple’s own workout service that offers many different categories of content. And yes, Apple Fitness+ does offer yoga classes.
Apple Watch users will be notified of this new International Yoga Day competition before it starts.
You can also get inspired by this challenge by watching the Apple TV+ limited series WeCrashed.
Will you take part in this challenge? Let us know in the comments!
