Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 How To Play Dark Water Mission – First Campaign Gameplay

Background: game prices

Calendar week 24 was marked, among other things, by the long-awaited and hoped-for crypto crash. After the recent game fairs and various announcements, however, we would first like to devote ourselves to another topic: game prices and what will become of them. Amounts anywhere from 40 to 60 euros are considered normal for major PC releases and we’ve gotten used to that. Console players have been paying more for new games for a long time – and now it should be the same on the PC, if some publishers have their way. The most prominent example is likely to be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022), which will be released on October 28th. With Call of Duty’s return to Steam after a long period of Battle.net exclusivity, the price has also been announced, which is steep. The basic version of the game should cost 70 euros; with the addition of the Vault Edition it is already 100 euros. Sony have similar numbers in mind for The Last of Us Part 1. On the one hand, the standard edition is available for 79.99 euros, which contains the entire story of The Last of Us including the prologue chapter “Left Behind”. On the other hand, there is also a Digital Deluxe Edition, which offers a few other smaller features and therefore costs 10 euros more. These sums rekindle what is essentially an age-old discussion: How much can new games cost? You can read bluntly what the PCGH editors have to say about this in the picture gallery. And what do you think, dear readers?
