German company Milivie going to release 22 copies of VW Beetle restomod. So far, there is only a design project with which you can imagine exactly how the car will look like:
A VW Beetle 1303 is used as a donor. This Beetle came out in the early 1970s and was slightly larger than the original model. In fact, Milivié completely exposes the entire body and begins a massive rework. For example, instead of headlights – just a light ring, and instead of lanterns – “horseshoes” embedded in the body:
They also add a hood with a rear ducktail spoiler and large 19-inch wheels with a “distinctive five-spoke design of the 1960s”:
The car is completely refurbished. For example, they change the suspension by installing KW Competition 2A double wishbones on each wheel. The engine is a 2.28-liter air-cooled flat-four engine. Its capacity has not yet been announced. Milivié 1 will get a pair of Weber carburetors with electronic ignition, as well as a ZF 4HP automatic transmission.
The salon will also be completely redone:
A total of 22 copies will be released. The first owner will receive their car in July 2023 and the last owner in May 2025. The price is impressive: 570,000 €.
