Journalist Federico Vittici noticed an innovation in iOS 16 that Apple did not talk about. This is a unit converter and integration with third-party services in iMessage.
You can enter a time, Vittici says, and iMessage will have the option to integrate those settings into Calendar. There you can create an event or just see if you have something scheduled for that day.
In addition, a currency converter appeared in the messenger. Enter the number and the currency itself, submit it, and the system will prompt you to display the amount in another currency. Similarly, with temperature – write it in degrees Celsius, and the system will prompt you to convert the value in degrees Fahrenheit.
So far, the function works only with English. Perhaps we will see its adaptation for Russian. Apple did not comment on it.
Previously, the features of the new iOS 16 were named, which will not receive the old iPhone. They counted seven. You can get acquainted with them here. Update for them?
