Good news for all World of Warcraft fans, because the Dragonflight expansion is scheduled for release later this year, as Blizzard has now confirmed. Several editions for the expansion are available for pre-order now.
Dragons are coming to World of Warcraft later this year
The next expansion, announced in April alongside Wrath of the Lich King Classic, will offer players four new zones to explore. The new class, the Callers of the Dracthyr, also provides a new feel for the game.
“We’re very excited to bring our next expansion to players later this year,” said Executive Producer Holly Longdale. Dragonflight is a return to Azeroth, but also a return to freedom and exploration.
“This is your chance to experience the rich history of the fabled Dragon Isles up close and immerse yourself in the high-fantasy that is at the heart of the Warcraft universe.”
