During this weekend’s LegoCon, a lot of new Lego kits were presented and one of these has taken inspiration from the film Avatar from 2009.
The Avatar kit has been named “Toruk Makto and the Tree of Souls” in Swedish and consists of 1212 Lego pieces, four minifigures and a Lego horse. With these, it is possible to build together the figure Toruk, the dragon-like leonopteryx, as well as the so-called “tree of souls” that plays a central role in the film. The toruk figure is 24 cm high and 39 cm wide while the tree of the souls is 22 cm high and 23 cm wide.
Toruk Makto and the Tree of Souls construction kit will be released on the first of October and will then cost SEK 1,800. Below you can check out a clip from the movie Avatar. There we get to see how Jake Sullivan-Na’vin rides the mythical Leonopteryx and thus gets the right to call himself Toruk Makto.
