German tennis veteran Philipp Kohlschreiber has lost in the second round of Wimbledon qualifying and failed in his attempt to retire at the grass-court grand slam which begins next week. The 38-year-old has slipped to 230 in the world rankings which sent him into qualifying in Roehampton which he started with a 6-2, 6-2 win against Frenchman Grégoire Barrère on Monday.
