A case appeared on the network when Tinkoff-Bank took a commission twice as part of one operation. This was reported in vc.ru.

According to the source, one of Tinkoff’s clients, his name is Artem, sent a transfer from his account with this bank via the SWIFT system. Earlier we said that Tinkoff introduced a new commission for outgoing swift transfers in the amount of 3%, but not less than 200 c.u. When making a transfer from Artem, a commission of 200 USD was withheld.

However, for some reason, the sent transfer did not go through, and the money was sent back through the same SWIFT system. When the refund was credited to Artem’s account, he missed another 200 USD. A dissatisfied customer wrote to the support service and received the following response:

“The return of a SWIFT transfer is carried out as a new SWIFT transfer. For SWIFT transfers received after June 16, we charge a commission of 3%, but not less than 200 USD.”

In the comments to this story, new jokes have already been born in RuNet: “we take a commission for a commission”, “we could not send money, so we kept it for ourselves”, “the funds were debited by the bank in our favor due to the current banking conditions”, and so Further.

It turns out that the client of Tinkoff-Bank can pay a commission twice, while not making the desired transfer to the end. Representatives of the bank have not yet commented on this situation publicly.
