The Russian resource “Tutu.ru” for buying tickets for public transport was subjected to a hacker attack and could not withstand it. It is reported by RBC.
According to the source, the Tutu.ru website has been subjected to massive DDoS attacks since February 24. One of the latest cyber raids was successful for hackers: the resource’s servers were opened and a database of ticket buyers was stolen from there.
Judging by the name of the database file – TutuBusorders – it most likely contains information about intercity bus passengers. The base consists of 2,627,166 lines. The content of this leak: the names of ticket buyers, their phone numbers and email addresses. In fact, this is an “ideal” base for spammers and phone scammers.
The Telegram channel “Information Leaks” claims that the Tutu.ru database was hosted by the same anonymous source that previously published the stolen Geekbrains and Delivery Club archives.
Representatives of the Tutu.ru service have already confirmed that the TutuBusorders file is the database of their customers. The company clarifies that the payment data is not there; information on which flights tickets were bought for is also missing. It is reported that the data is fresh – these are bus ticket orders over the past couple of months, and they make up about 1% of all orders through the Tutu.ru website.
