Ubisoft is constantly working on The Crew 2 and will be kicking off Season 6 Episode 1 tomorrow, Wednesday. We’ll tell you what to expect here.
As Ubisoft announced today, The Crew 2 will start its sixth season tomorrow, Wednesday. The first episode will be called “Dominion Forsberg” and will then be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Stadia and PC. The makers themselves speak of one of the “most ambitious updates since the release” of the game.
The major new update was developed in collaboration with three-time drift world champion Chris Forsberg and his racing team. As a result, there will be six new playgrounds, nine new themed events and one new challenge. Under the direction of Forsberg, you must push your precision driving skills to the limit.
But there are many more innovations. For example, there’s finally a 60fps option on PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as a visual overhaul to coloring and weather across all platforms. A new engine pass will also be introduced, which again has 50 ranks. As usual, there is a free and a premium version.
Exclusive new vehicles include the Forsberg Racing Gold Leader Z (Street Race), Forsberg Racing Nissan 370Z East African Safari (Rally Cross) and Forsberg Racing Nissan 350Z Roadster (Drift). You can also look forward to new prestige items, outfits, currency packs (crew credits and bucks) and much more. Last but not least, the LIVE Summit experience will also continue.
To celebrate the start of the new season, there is once again a free long weekend. From July 7th to 13th you can play The Crew 2 in its entirety without having to pay for the full version.
