IT House reported on July 8 that GAC Group announced June production and sales data, including its various series of models.
Data show that GAC Group sold 234,394 vehicles in June, up 41.2% year-on-year and 28% month-on-month, and produced 232,478 cars in June, up 42.1% year-on-year and 20.8% month-on-month. From January to June, the cumulative sales volume reached 1,149,926 units, a year-on-year increase of 12.02%, and the output totaled 1,151,655 units, a year-on-year increase of 15%.
In terms of new energy, GAC Group sold 26,740 new energy vehicles in June, a year-on-year increase of 172.6%, and produced 26,844 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 190.2%. From January to June, GAC Group sold a total of 113,335 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 119.9%, and produced a total of 112,989 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 122.3%.
IT House has reported that GAC Aion had announced earlier this month that its June sales of 24,109 units reached a new high, an increase of 182% year-on-year and a month-on-month increase of 14.5%; the cumulative sales in the first half of the year were 100,251 units; a year-on-year increase of 133.9%.
