The new monitor features a white front panel, white side panels, white stand and back. The design is almost all white except for a small RGB area covered in black plastic.
IT House has learned that the display is 27 inches diagonally long, uses a Rapid-IPS panel, has a native resolution of 2560 x 1440, supports 170Hz refresh rate (DisplayPort 1.4) or 144hz (HDMI 2.0b), 8bit + FRC color, 1ms response time, 300 nits brightness, 125% SRGB color gamut.
Additionally, MSI offers a game console mode that supports 1080p 120Hz displays.
It is reported that the G274QRFW supports AMD Freesync Premium synchronous refresh rate technology, which is compatible with G-Sync and has a refresh rate range of 48 ~ 170 Hz.
It is worth mentioning that MSI also provides a so-called “night vision” function for it, which seems to be an HDR enhancement function, which can enhance the expressiveness of details in dark scenes.
In other respects, this monitor also supports “Professional Anti-Blue Light” + “Screen Flicker Free”, which reduces the blue light emitted by the monitor. The company has not disclosed information such as pricing or release date for this display.
