The cheerful alien co-op shoot-out Aliens: Fireteam Elite is getting a major update, which among other things means that the matchmaking queues are getting a little shorter.
The co-op shooter Aliens: Fireteam Elite is certainly not the most successful contender in its genre, but the developers continue to provide the game with new content. The fourth season starts on July 26th with a comprehensive update that brings some interesting content with it.
Above all, crossplay between PC and consoles is in the foreground, which combines the already somewhat thinned out number of players, which should speed up the matchmaking quite a bit.
With “Restock Turrets” the game also gets a new game mode. The name says it all – you have to take care of your turrets so that you can fend off one alien wave after another.
There is also a new progression system that should take effect from level 20. From then on you will receive prestige levels up to a maximum level of 100, with cosmetic items being unlocked again and again. Four new weapons are also on the update list.
