Today, mid-July 2022, we can finally share with you the first information from a short alpha test of WoW: Dragonflight. First, let’s look at what the adventure guide tells us about the dungeons and the first raid in the Dragon expansion.
The Dragonflight Alpha has a launch date and we can finally share with you what information we were able to gather during the short Alpha test a few days ago. We’re taking a look at the dungeons and first raid of the expansion for the first time. Much is still with the good old [Platzhalter] proven. No wonder, the Alpha is still fresh and a few things will change. We can already see some boss models from the raid, the names of the dungeons and their number in the WoW Adventure Guide: Dragonflight.
Dragonflight Dungeons
That there will be eight dungeons in Dragonflight, we have already guessed. Now we also know the names of the 5-player instances of WoW (buy now ) Dragon flight. The bosses, including their models and abilities, are still placeholders, so we’re not speculating with the number of bosses per dungeon.

If you look at the image above, you will notice that placeholder images may still be used except for one dungeon. For example, The Azure Vault still has an image of the WotLK instance The Nexus in the preview. Because it Four main zones on the Dragon Islands one can assume that two dungeons are always thematically based on the area. An interesting aspect is certainly that the classic dungeon Uldaman will possibly play a role.
The first raid of WoW Dragonflight
You can get a little more information from the adventure guide data for the first Dragonflight raid named Vault of the Incarnation. Here you face eight bosses. Some of them already have the first few skills and some boss models.

Above you can see the previously known boss models. A worm, a spider and of course some dragons in various forms can be found in the Vault of Incarnation. Raszageth the Stormeater is the final dragon boss of the raid, “Dathea, Ascended” could indicate that we already get to know this character during a quest line due to the “Ascended” form. The elementals also play a role in the Vault of Incarnation, as seen with the first boss, Eranog, who is a hybrid of humanoid, drakonid, and elemental. How do you like the bosses visually?
