It’s been three years since her last movie, Luffy and his friends soon embark on a new adventure in One Piece Film: Red. Yesterday confirmed Crunchy roll, who will publish the anime film in this country, the German start date of the title. The now 15th screen offshoot of the globally popular franchise will start on October 13, 2022 in selected cinemas throughout Germany.
Luffy reunites with an old friend in One Piece Film: Red
In their latest adventure, our heroes are heading to the music island of Elegia, where a special live concert will be held. Princess Uta, the world’s most popular singing diva, will perform there! An event that not only attracts Luffy & Co., but also numerous other pirates, the navy and, of course, fans from all over the world. However, none of them would have guessed that Uta is the daughter of the pirate emperor Red-haired Shanks.
As you might expect, this reveal will turn everything on its head. As if her lineage wasn’t enough, the singer’s voice should have the power to change the entire world. An ability that arouses desires, which is why Luffy does not hesitate and wants to protect his childhood friend.
“One Piece Film: Red” will be released in participating cinemas both in the original Japanese version with German subtitles and with German dubbing. The seven songs of the film will be heard in the original language in each version. Incidentally, Uta is voiced by two speakers in the anime film: Kaori Nazuka (“My Hero Academia”) will speak the normal dialogues, while J-Pop singer Ado will take over the vocal parts. It is currently unknown who will voice the new character in the German version.
