As you know, Apple has a new MacBook Air out there that uses Apple’s own M2 processor. Our eminent colleague Roger thought the computer was “an expensive hit” which can be said to be a fairly accurate summary of the computer.
The people from The Verge have also taken a closer look at this computer and their opinions are ventilated in the video review above. Among other things, they state that it is ruggedly good at doing everyday things, but they do not like that it is more expensive, that the basic version has slow storage and that it has so few doors.

MacBook Air M2 is an expensive hit
Why do we Swedes have to pay so dearly for love?
It has been, to say the least, a long time since Apple updated its MacBook Air. Even when it got the M1 chip two years ago, it kept the old design. But a few weeks ago I was in the US and got to check out the brand new MacBook Air and now I have been driving it for a few days here at home. There will be many lucky buyers of this computer for Apple has really got all the parts together here. It’s a shame it’s so damn expensive. Because the price makes up for it. More specifically, the Swedish price. In short, the difference between the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 14 “is significantly smaller in Sweden than in the US. it is like a prerequisite for the future.

The day is here – now you can buy Apple’s new MacBook Air with M2. The price is SEK 16,495 and for that you get a MacBook Air with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, as well as an M2 with an 8-core processor and an 8-core graphics processor. If you maximize the computer, you end up with SEK 32,995, then you get 24 GB of RAM, 2 TB of storage and two more cores on the graphics processor. In a week, July 15, deliveries will start.

MacBook Pro 13 with M2 is love for touchbar fanboys
Fantastic inside in old shell
When Apple launched the new MacBook Air, they also released a “new” MacBook Pro 13 with M2 chip. Part of me was a little disappointed in some way, Airen felt so new and fresh that it kind of felt a little tiring to keep the 13-inch alive. Even when Apple released the MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inches, which was really Pro, it felt like the thirteen inch should have been slaughtered. It’s kind of awkward to talk about a Pro computer that’s not really a Pro.
