Cork up the champagne contracts are signed!
Earlier this year, it was announced that Sony had opened its wallet and bought Bungie for $ 3.6 billion. The deal was announced shortly after it was discovered that Microsoft had put its gloves on Activision Blizzard, a deal that is expected to be completed sometime next year. Playstation now announces via twitter that their deal is complete and thus welcomes Bungie to the family.
The former HaloThe developer is now officially part of the Playstation family after working as an independent developer for 15 years. It will be exciting to see what the future holds and what projects the studio can develop under Sony’s flag.
