SAIC Zhiji LS7 has been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and will be listed in the second half of this year.

IT House reported on July 17 that SAIC Zhiji LS7 single-motor version and dual-motor version have appeared in the latest car company declaration catalogue of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The new car is positioned as a 5-seat pure electric SUV, which is a highly restored concept car. Among them, the dual-motor version has three sizes of body height. According to previous official news, Zhiji LS7 will start pre-sale and officially launch in the second half of the year.

As can be seen from the picture, the top of the new car adopts the same “lidar + dual high-level camera” design as the concept car, and the side is also equipped with a camera, and the front part is equipped with a conventional surround-view camera, perception hardware, etc.

In terms of body size, Zhiji LS7 has a length, width and height of 5049mm, 2002mm and 1731mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3060mm.

In addition, Zhiji LS7 dual motor version has three sizes, in addition to 1731mm, there are two sizes of 1763mm and 1773mm, which may be related to the configuration of the roof.

In terms of power, the Zhiji LS7 is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The rear-drive single-motor version has a maximum power of 250kW; the dual-motor version has a front 175kW + rear 250kW, and is equipped with a ternary lithium battery provided by SAIC Times, which supports external charging.

IT House learned that SAIC exhibited the Zhiji LS7 concept car at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. It is planned to be officially mass-produced in 2022. The official said that it will start pre-sale and officially launch in the second half of this year.

For the interior, referring to the Zhiji LS7 concept car, it will be equipped with a large screen that can be lifted automatically, as well as a central control screen. The overall layout is basically the same as the Zhiji L7.

In other respects, it is expected that the new car will adopt the same huge smart scene screen as Zhiji L7, such as the main driver’s 26.3-inch 4K-level giant screen 4320*720 and the passenger 12.3-inch independent entertainment screen 1920*20, which can be independently lifted and lowered, and equipped with 12.8 inch AMOLED 2K Override Hub (1728*1888).
