The Taiko no Tatsujin franchise, which began in 2001, has seen the birth of countless titles and songs over the rhythm game franchise’s more than 20-year history. Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival will be the first title to offer the Taiko Music Pass with 7-day free access. By subscribing to the Taiko Music Pass, players will have access to a catalog of over 500 songs with monthly updates featuring new songs.

Pre-orders for the game are now open with 2 editions available:
- Standard Edition
- The Taiko Drum Set edition which contains the Standard Edition of the game and the drums.
A digital Deluxe Edition will be available later and will contain the Standard Edition with 90-day access to the Taiko Music Pass.
Players will be able to hone their drumming skills through the 76 songs available in the game. In addition to these songs available in Taiko Mode, Story Mode will take them on an adventure to become a master drummer alongside DON-Chan and Kumo -Kyun. Players can also show off their skills in online battles, or collaborate with friends in Party Mode. The ” Donate Coins will be earned through the different modes and will allow players to obtain items such as costumes or dog tags to customize their appearance.
Players with Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun save data will receive 3 bonus songs and customization items.
