The Sea of ​​Thieves captain update is delayed until August

The seventh season would have been released next week.

However, the plans were put on hold, other things got focus, and even though the game went from clarity to clarity after its (honestly) meager release, there were probably many who put the captain’s ambitions on the shelf.

But not Rare. During the Xbox “instead of E3” show in June, season seven was unveiled Sea of ​​Thieves, where the big draw is to become captain of his schooner. Name it, decorate the cabin, rake in unique rewards, and so on. Sounds fun! But. The promised release in July will not happen.

However, you do not have to despair as the delay is a meager week, from 28 July to 4 August. Via the official site lets Rare announce that the closer they got to the release, the worse the stress became.

As we started getting closer to the originally stated release date, it became apparent that things were coming in hotter than we liked and there was a real risk of not delivering to the quality and polish we expect, as well as putting undue pressure across the team to get it all over the line.
