The Apple M2 MacBook Air features a new slim design, in addition to midnight, there are also starlight, silver and space gray, equipped with a larger 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, 1080p HD camera, support for MagSafe charging and more.
The Apple M2 MacBook Air uses an all-aluminum metal unibody design with a body thickness of 11.3 mm and a weight of 2.7 pounds (about 1.24 kg).The volume of the fuselage is reduced by 20% compared with the previous generation model, and it adopts a quiet and silent fanless design.In addition, there is no “MacBook Air” logo under the B side of the M2 MacBook Air.
Specifically, the Apple M2 MacBook Air measures 1.13 cm (0.44 inches) high x 30.41 cm (11.97 inches) wide x 21.50 cm (8.46 inches) deep and weighs 1.24 kg (2.7 lbs).
The new MacBook Air features a 13.6-inch 2560 x 1664-pixel Liquid Retina display with an area of the screen closer to the edges that extends up around the camera for the menu bar. Supports 500 nits of brightness, making the display 25% brighter than before. MacBook Air now supports 1 billion colors to bring photos and videos to life. The MacBook Air features a 1080p FaceTime HD camera with a notch design.
There is also a four-speaker sound system. The speaker and microphone are placed completely between the keyboard and display, blending into a slim design.
MagSafe provides users with a dedicated charging port for easy connection, while also protecting the MacBook Air if the connected charging cable is accidentally pulled away quickly. The MacBook Air also features 2 Thunderbolt ports for connecting a variety of accessories, and a 3.5mm audio jack that supports high-impedance headphones.
Magic Keyboard features a full-height function key row with Touch ID and a large, industry-leading Force Touch trackpad.
