On the morning of July 21st, this morning, Microsoft pushed a new preview version for Insider members of the Dev channel, the operating system version number Build 25163.
It stands to reason that Build 25163 corresponds to 23H2, but there are rumors that 23H2 may have been canceled recently, and we will let time test the truth.
Back to the system version, the new features include the following:
1. New pop-up design for the taskbar
New taskbar style
Old taskbar icon overflow style
The new design allows one-time viewing of pinned applications or shortcut icons in the taskbar. In the current official version of Win11, only a limited number of programs can be pinned in the taskbar. If the limit is exceeded, the last program will be replaced.
2. Optimize the proximity sharing function
Enhanced discovery of UDP and Bluetooth shared devices, and can share programs such as desktop, explorer, photos, screenshots, Xbox or local files with more devices including desktop computers.
3. Upload local files to OneDrive
The Sharing Center is added to the OneDrive portal, which can be uploaded directly.
In addition, the Microsoft Store (Microsoft Store) has also been updated to version 22206.1401.2.0, and the price display is more clear.
As always, the release also fixes a ton of issues, including explorer.exe crashes and more.
