A New Jersey appeals court has resurrected a lawsuit filed by three children who say police violated their civil rights and caused other harms when they burst into their Piscataway home with a search warrant in 2013. A Middlesex County judge dismissed the case in late 2019, ruling the children had no claims and the officers were protected under qualified immunity.
