It will be the hottest weekend of the year so far as New Jersey enters its sixth day of the current heat wave, with temperatures on Saturday expected to fall just shy of 100 degrees. And while it’s not expected to be quite as humid, forecasters still predict heat-index temperatures above 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
