The company is working on gloves for an AR helmet. They can move the cursor, scroll through pages, open documents, and so on. In addition, they track finger movements.
The Sense circuitry can be configured to sense a signal at the sensing electrode (eg, configured for contact with a second body part) in response to a drive signal applied to a drive electrode (eg, configured for contact with a first body part).

The patent indicates that Apple could use two wearable devices similar to the Apple Watch to detect skin contact. The company also offers to use a special ring as a second wearable device, from which you can answer calls, run programs, and more.
