Disney + would have embarked on a brand new project: the adaptation in live-action series of the novel Eragon by Christopher Paolini.
disney is preparing a new adaptation of the novel Eragonaccording variety. Eragon is the first volume of the literary saga signed Christopher Paolini, published in 2002. A saga that caused a stir at the time, and in which we follow the adventures of young Eragon as he discovers a dragon egg. Christopher Paolini will be the co-screenwriter of this new adaptation. He could even take on the role of showrunner, but it’s still too early to tell.
This will therefore be the second adaptation ofEragon. In 2006, we had already been able to see the film adaptation of Paolini’s novel. The film was a real flop, but that did not prevent the author from calling on Disney, in 2021, to create a new project. It would seem that Paolini has managed to convince the studio with big ears. Let’s just hope this new adaptation doesn’t make the same mistakes as the 2006 one.
Disney + will also adapt in series another literary saga for teenagers, Percy Jackson. Walker Scobell, discovered in The Adam Project, will play the role of the young demigod and son of Poseidon. Are you eager to discover the new adaptations of Eragon and Percy Jackson?
