The Japanese company Capcom has announced the so-called “Winters Expansion” together with a gold edition for “Resident Evil Village”.
But that doesn’t seem to be all, because an update on accessibility should also be released.

For those who don’t know, “Resident Evil Village‘ is also known as ‘Resident Evil 8“. We just wanted to mention that in passing.
The game update for Accessibilitythe Winter DLC and the Gold Edition are scheduled to be released together on October 28th.

The update will add new buttons for subtitle size, color and background. It also adds a permanent crosshair, a closed captions option, and the narrator’s name in story mode.
A free accessibility update for all Resident Evil Village users is coming alongside the Winters’ Expansion and Gold Edition in October, adding:
– Subtitle size, color & background toggles
– Speaker name display in story mode
– Closed captions

Resident Evil Village was released in May 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Google’s Stadia. The new updates will be available on October 28th.
