Today, July 28, 2022, Square Enix has released the official special page for the upcoming Patch 6.2 “Buried Memory” for Final Fantasy 14. All the content presented so far is clearly listed there. The artwork for the update was also presented here for the first time.
Patch 6.2 “Buried Memory” for Final Fantasy 14 was announced during the 71st Letter from the Producer LIVE and is expected to be released in late August. Alongside new story and PvE content, the update is also set to bring Island Paradise – content primarily aimed at solo players.
To further fuel the anticipation of this content update, the official special page presented. On it we find all previous announcements clearly listed and also find out when they will appear. Among other things, the new Wild Tribe and the Hildibrand quest line (which is also related to the new relic weapon quest line) will only appear with patch 6.25. The island paradise will obviously appear directly with patch 6.2, so we don’t have to wait too long for it.
The new artwork for the patch was also presented with the special page. On it are some of the Ascians from the quest line around the Pandæmonium Raid to see. So we can assume that the title of the update is closely related to this story. We may hear more about that in the upcoming Letter from the Producer LIVE, due out in August. The exact date is currently unknown.
