Soon it will be time for the third and final season of the Netflix fantasy series Locke & Key. Here comes one last trailer for it before it’s time for the premiere next month.
In the final season, we get to continue following the Locke family and their hunt for the mysterious keys in the so-called key house. Not entirely unexpectedly, new threats appear to appear against the family and the residents of the town of Matheson, a threat described as the worst yet.

Last summer it became known that Netflix ordered a season of Locke & Key, which is based on the comic book of the same name. Now Netflix has announced when we will get to see the ten-episode long season starting February 7. In the series, we will follow three siblings in the Locke family who, together with their mother, move into their family home Keyhouse, which is full of keys that seem to have some connection to their father’s death. The official synopsis reads as such: “After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them. From Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), the series is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family.”

It has now been eight years since Steven Spielberg set out to film the comic book Locke & Key, but now it seems that the series is finally coming to an end. Netflix has announced that it has ordered a season of ten episodes, which will be based on the comic book Locke & Key, whose first issue was published in 2008. It is about a kind of horror/fantasy series where we get to follow three siblings who, after the death of their father, move to a house where there are magic keys that give the siblings superpowers. There is no information on when we can see Locke & Key on Netflix, but it is not entirely impossible that the TV series will appear sometime next year.

In a little more than two months, it’s time for a new season of the Netflix fantasy series Locke & Key and here comes a trailer for it. The series’ third season will also be Locke & Key’s final season. It looks like the Locke family continues to find keys that open doors to other dimensions in the so-called Lockhouse even in the series’ third season. Netflix themselves write about the upcoming season of Locke & Key: “The Locke family uncovers more magic within Keyhouse, while a new threat—the most dangerous one yet—looms in Matheson with plans of his own for the keys.” The third and final season of Locke & Key kicks off on Netflix August 10. Locke & Key is getting a second season
More key mystery for the people!
Locke & Key finally premiered in February after trying to film the graphic novel since time immemorial. Now Netflix has decided that we will have more adventures with the Locke family as the gang has ordered a second season. The series’ showrunners Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill say this about the possibility of making a sequel: “We are thrilled to be continuing the journey of Locke & Key alongside all of our amazing collaborators. We are grateful to Netflix for all their support, especially at this difficult time, and look forward to bringing you the exciting next chapter of our story.” When the second season of the series will premiere is currently unknown, but will happen next year at the earliest.
