Facebook’s parent company Meta will stop paying publishers for their content to appear on Facebook, after deciding to prioritize news lower than before. The agreements with publishers are said to have been worth as much as 105 million dollars in the United States alone, write Axios.

News publishers can of course still have their content included in the news tab, but the funding for around 50 publishers will not be renewed.
