NBA 2K23 promotion continues. After presenting us with its various collector’s editions as well as its standard edition, the next installment in the franchise so dear to 2K returned yesterday with a new adrenaline-inducing video on the floor.
A short extract while waiting for something heavier
What we can notice right away is that the extracts from the trailer are as beautiful as they are fluid, but that’s the one and only remark we can make, like every year. We won’t lie to you, this gameplay video unfortunately only has the title or almost.
If the visual allows us to understand that it is indeed in-game action, the trailer is actually content to chain the cutscenes as we see some of the most famous heads of the NBA.
Fans of the discipline will easily recognize Ja Morant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Stephen Curry performing his famous “Night Night” celebration or even Devin Booker who was chosen to appear on the jacket of the standard edition.
The WNBA is not to be outdone since Diana Taurasi and Candace Parker (first woman to appear on an NBA 2K cover) can also be seen.
There is no doubt that Visual Concept will be back very soon to present the novelties of this new episode. This could even take place next week if we rely on the description of the video.
NBA 2K23, which will be available in 5 editions including one dedicated to Michael Jordan, will be available from September 9, 2022 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
