The second port of the device works on the Quick-Charge 3.0 protocol – super-fast charging for mobile devices that support Qualcomm technology. Along with high power, the third version of QC is equipped with the INOV function, which can intelligently select the necessary voltage to optimize the power and duration of charging a specific device.
Quick-Charge technology is now supported by most Xiaomi smartphones, as well as devices by BQ Aquaris, HTC, Redmi, Sony, ZTE, Samsung and other manufacturers. The maximum performance of Kovol Power Brick is achieved in 12V/1.5A mode.
The security of the device is provided by GaN III and SiC technologies, as well as Kovol’s proprietary Q-Pulse technology. GaN III is based on gallium nitride transistors, which can withstand higher voltages and temperatures than silicon transistors. In addition, they are more compact and heat up less, thanks to which the power supply turned out to be small and cold.
Kovol Q-Pulse is a set of security protocols including short circuit protection, over voltage protection, over temperature protection and over load protection.
