The racing game F1 22, which was released just a month ago, gets a fresh update that brings you the Portimao circuit for free.
Codemasters and EA will release the next free track update for F1 22 tomorrow, August 2nd. The racing game will then be complemented with the Autodromo Internacional do Algavre; the range is better known generally as Portimao.
Far away from this new route, the next track is also already in the starting blocks: next month you can look forward to the Shanghai International Circuit in China from September 12th. You’ll relive the historic circuit through F1-22 footage captured with Lewis Hamilton in this year’s A13 car.
Portimao returned for the 2020 and 2021 seasons as part of the revised F1 calendar. Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes dominated both years to take the win while his then-teammate Valtteri Bottas finished second and third. The 4.684 km long, hilly track is famous for its sharp descent before a final right-hander full throttle to the finish line.
Thanks to a free update, F1 22 now also gets the Portimao circuit.
