Next week it’s finally time, because then the new season “Hunted” will start in Apex Legends. In advance, the developers have now presented the most important features of the next major content update in more detail.
EA and Resapwn Entertainment presented the features of the content update in more detail a few days before the official start of the new season “Hunted” in Apex Legends. As has been known for a long time, the hero shooter will, above all, be given the new LEgende Vantage. You can also expect a redesign of the Kings Canyon map, a level cap increase, a fresh Battle Pass, and more.
The most important innovations of Apex Legends: Hunted are officially stated as follows:
- New Legend Vantage: After learning everything the hard way, Vantage is ready to shake up the Apex games. The ultimate survivor, Vantage is particularly adept at wielding scoped weapons and can see impending threats thousands of yards away through her sniper sights.
- Redesigned Kings Canyon: The “King’s Canyon” map has been redesigned and the former “Skull City” returns as a “Relic”. In the new Kings Canyon, popular ambush locations have been terraformed or closed entirely. The cage was in turn opened and replaced with a simple platform.
- New Battle Pass: Players can unlock a new Music Pack, Loading Screens, Emotes, Badge Frames, and Weapon Charms with the Hunted Battle Pass.
- Level Cap Increase: The level cap for Apex Legends has been increased and players have the opportunity to collect more Legend Tokens and Apex Packs.
In addition, Vantage as a new legend has now been discussed in more detail. Among other things, there is a new character trailer that you can watch below. In addition, all skills of the protagonist, known as a survivor and sniper, were presented:
- Passive – Recon Lens: With her scout lens, Vantage can read tactical information from distant enemy squads, giving her the upper hand with critical information like legend name, shield rarity, team size, and range.
- Tactics – Echo Relocation: Echo is Vantage’s companion and helps her change positions in a fight. With her modified jetpack and targeting system, Vantage can fly to Echo’s location and take up an elevated position.
- Ultimate – Sniper Mark: Vantage’s customized sniper rifle locates enemies with its scope and ammo. Each hit marks enemy squads with a diamond icon for 10 seconds, and damage increases with each hit.
Apex Legends: Hunted is out August 9th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Origin and Steam.
