Fans of the co-op shooter Back 4 Blood will soon be getting fresh game fodder. The second expansion “Children of the Worm” was announced for August.
Developer Turtle Rock Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Games today officially announced another add-on to the co-op shooter Back 4 Blood. The second expansion will be called “Children of the Worm” and should be available from August 30, 2022 according to the current planning status. The DLC will be part of the Annual Pass, Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition, but can also be purchased separately.
What can you expect in “Children of the Worm”? The DLC includes an all-new campaign story that will take you into a showdown with a new threat. To battle the yet-unknown foe, the add-on also introduces the “Prophet” Dan, a self-proclaimed end-time preacher who joins the growing list of playable Cleaners.
In addition to this main content, there are also eight exclusive character skins and 12 exclusive weapon skins, as well as new weapons, accessories and maps.
Previously there was a comparable add-on for the very successful title “Terror Tunnel”. Several free updates have also been released, available to all players, including new skins, legendary items, burn cards, emblems, sprays, and more.
The big terror tunnel DLC for Back 4 Blood will be released in a few days.
