2022 seems determined to compete with 2020 in terms of the number of postponements. And it is not this latest news that is likely to reverse the trend. Indeed, the information has just fallen: Marvel’s Midnight Suns is postponed to an unknown date. It was 2K who confirmed the information, shifting the initial release scheduled for October to a window; that of its financial year which runs until March 2023.
We’ve made the decision to push back the launch window for Marvel’s Midnight Suns to ensure that the teams at Firaxis Games and 2K provide the best possible experience for our fans. The title will launch later this fiscal year on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions will follow at a later date.
This is the second postponement of the game from Firaxis Games since its official announcement in August 2021. First scheduled for March 2022, it did not take long for the title to see itself shifted to the second half of the year. The news may come as a surprise given the recent news around the characters released in recent weeks.
