This week, the 14th season of the free-to-play Battle Royal shooter Apex Legends started with “Hunted”. As the community reports, errors crept in with the new season that can sometimes turn the course of a game upside down.
This week, the developers at Respawn Entertainment launched the 14th season of the free-to-play battle royale shooter Apex Legends with Hunted.
After Studio recently had to put up with the accusation that too little is being done about the technical problems that “Apex Legends” is still struggling with, the community is complaining about further errors at the start of the new season. First, players may rank up in their Battle Pass but not receive the associated rewards.
The error that the opponent’s footsteps cannot be heard and the incorrectly displayed rank badges, which the community already complained about in the last season, are still present.
Legendary abilities are jumbled up
According to the affected players, however, the bug that can ensure that the abilities of the legends are swapped is completely new. For example, Horizon suddenly has Newcastle’s abilities, while Ash can teleport or open a black market like Loba.
Officially, it is said that the errors are already being investigated and, in the best case, will be fixed as soon as possible. Despite everything, the current development should be grist to the mills of the critics, who accused Respawn Entertainment of shifting its focus exclusively to the in-game shop and called for a boycott of “Apex Legends” or the new season.
