The Ascent, from the Swedish Neon Giant, was an incredibly good-looking cyberpunk experience that received a perfectly okay reception and revealed great success in terms of sales by selling for over 43 million kroner in its first weekend. Since then, the small developer has been working hard on fixing bugs and stability, and a few months ago the game was also released for Playstation.
A couple of days ago, the game celebrated its 1 year anniversary, and in conjunction with that, a short teaser video was released by the official Twitter account. Video shows a flying vehicle, the text “Gear up for an all new contract” and some heavily armed characters walking through the city.
That it is some kind of new material is quite obvious, but we do not know what it is more specifically. It can be anything from a free update with some new content to a more modest DLC.
