The long-standing saga that is WNBA star Britney Griner‘s detainment in Russia is coming to a head this week as she is set to stand trial in Moscow. Griner was arrested on February 17 for possession of vape cartridges containing hashish oil. Griner’s pre-trial detainment has since been extended several times. At the end of the week, Griner’s lawyers will present her case, however, experts warn that Griner’s case may already have a predetermined verdict.
