Reactions in WhatsApp have saved many users from having to respond to messages with words. A simple cry or a thumbs-up emoji will make it easier to eliminate awkwardness in a conversation.
This is something that has already appeared in other messaging apps such as Telegram, Instagram* and Facebook* Messenger, but the feature has made its way to WhatsApp not so long ago.
Although the WaBetaInfo portal does not announce when the update will appear for all users, in the latest beta version of the application, all this is already available on iOS and Android.
