It is a ritual that any subscriber to the twitter account of Masahiro Sakurai (the creator of Smash and of Kirby) know only too well. The daily publication of screenshots of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate taken by Sakurai himself is about to end. In a short message, the genius creator announced that he will soon run out of catches and regrets thus ending during the month of August to this “part of his work” which has become a ritual as regular as it is delicious. One more era that turns for the Super Smash Bros. best-selling of all time.
Posting daily Smash Ultimate screenshots has been part of my work ritual for a while now… but it looks like I’m going to miss out in August. I even picked up about 200 new ones as we finished development, so it’s hard to believe they’re already gone. Time is definitely passing!
