We could have forgotten him given his absence of news for a long time, Fate/EXTRA Record however, took advantage of the Tokyo Wadarco exhibition devoted to the illustrator of the series, Arco Wada, to unveil new images. The RPG thus offers itself a trailer without too much information but which nevertheless allows the fans to be reassured as to the progress of the project.
The development is progressing
Two years ago, the Type-Moon studio announced to us Fate/EXTRA Record, a remake of the RPG released at the time of the PSP in 2010. With already existing source material, one would have thought that the project would move forward faster, but it has already been a while since the title was released. show. The developers want to make us understand that development is progressing at its own pace but without getting too wet by avoiding announcing an exit period.
This new video allows you to see the work done on this remake which runs on the Unreal Engine. Twelve years later, it is therefore logical to see a fairly marked graphic advance. In development, we also find the original team there, with Kinoko Nasu on writing, Takashi Takeuchi on character design, Kazuya Niino on production and Arco Wada of course returns for the artistic part.
If all goes well, Fate/EXTRA Record is expected on consoles. No release date or confirmed platforms yet, but these new sequences can give us hope for new information soon.
