Expected for next winter on PC, Switch and other platforms still unknown for the moment, Sea of Stars hasn’t given much news since its last appearance during a Nintendo Indie World broadcast in December 2021. Unfortunately, we now know the main reason for it: Sabotage Studio’s RPG (The Messenger) falls behind and won’t be released until 2023.

According to the message published yesterday afternoon on Twitter by the Quebec studio, this postponement was obviously deemed necessary in order not to tarnish the quality of the game at launch but also to avoid putting too much pressure on the shoulders of the development team.
Also note that, in order to make us wait until the release, Sabotage Studio indicates that it is evaluating the possibility of offer a playable demo of the title this year without further details. To be continued.
