Due to the sharp fall in the value of the yen, Apple decided to raise the cost of products sold in the country by about 25%. This is reported Nikkei Asia.
So, the basic iPhone 13 has risen in price by 19%: earlier, its price started from 98,800 yen (about $730), but now they are asking for 117,800 yen.
The popular iPhone SE in Japan went up by 5,000 yen at once to 62,800 (about $462), the iPhone 13 Pro cost 122,800 yen, and now costs 144,800 yen ($1,069).
The base iPad went up the most, by 10,000 yen. That’s 25% off the price, and the tablet is now priced at 49,800 yen ($368).
But the prices for poppies have not changed. More precisely, this month Apple has already raised them – an increase of more than 10%.
