Today, Mercedes-Benz (China) and Beijing Benz filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation, planning to recall the following vehicles.
Mercedes-Benz recalls production dates from July 29, 2022,Partially imported S-Class series vehicles from February 6, 2017 to November 12, 2019, totaling 1,534 units.
The reason for the recall is that the connecting hose of the low-pressure fuel pipe of the vehicle may be accelerated aging due to the high temperature in the area, which affects the tightness of the connection, which may lead to fuel dripping and obvious fuel odor, and there are unreasonable emissions.
In addition, from October 15, 2018 to June 11, 2020, some domestically produced A-Class, C-Class, E-Class, GLA SUV, GLC SUV series vehicles of Beijing Benz were recalled simultaneously, a total of 322 vehicles.
Particles from the manufacturing process that remain in the vehicle’s fuel dispenser,May damage the seal between the fuel distributor and the injector, which can lead to fuel leakage and, in extreme cases, a fire.
Mercedes-Benz officials will recall vehicles, replace damaged parts, and eliminate safety hazards and unreasonable emissions hazards.
